SOREL GmbH Mikroelektronik is a manufacturer of solar thermal, hydronic, and heat pump controllers based in West Germany.
Since 1991, SOREL has devoted its focus towards the heating of buildings with due regard for ecological concern. SOREL can deliver a wide range of compact and ready-to-install products ranging from standard temperature difference controllers for solar thermal, hydronic and heat pump applications as well as customised system controllers for virtually any heating application. For technical support, training and sales purposes, SOREL is able to provide our customers with software for simulated demonstation, configuration and operation of our products on a personal computer. Market success is based on our range of versatile and powerful products, which combine an easily understandable operator guidance system with practical design. Today, SOREL controllers help optimise the control of heating systems on every continent, and in this way help contribute to the saving of fossil fuel resources worldwide.
In 2005, SOREL was accredited with TÜV-certification according to ISO 9001. This certification ensures our customers of our continued effort to mantain highest product quality standards and to further augment customer satisfaction. In 2009, the TDC, HCC and WPC controllers were awarded certification to CSA, UL and CE product safety standards. Production of circuit board assemblies is performed by a small group of select local partners of which hold official quality certificates, and maintain product qaulity to SOREL standards. In addition, SOREL has aquired a new production facility in Poland in order to supply components for the cost-effective STDC controller of guaranteed SOREL quality. All key processes, such as hardware developement, software engineering as well as the final inspection, are performed in-house in Sprockhovel, Germany.
